As per advanced estimates for 2022-23 India's GDP is Rs 1.576 crore crores. In dollar terms, the chart below gives you a feel for the GDP of India.


At constant prices of 2011-12 India's GDP is at $1.97 trillion. Economists often say that a significant proportion of Indian Economy is in the unorganized sector and therefore it is difficult to account for the same. Several steps have been initiated to formalize the Indian Economy.
